Hello everyone, my name is Wally.

I am the owner and cofounder of Shawarma Shack and Donair. Having grown up in the north end of Edmonton, I have always had the passion to create an authentic fast paced Mediterranean/Canadian cuisine restaurant. My background and passion for cooking started at a very young age, as my father had restaurants. I became involved in the food side of the business watching him and became more invested over the years. From cooking for family and friends, to becoming deeply interested about creating and opening a restaurant of my own one day. I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to work with something I love.

Here at Shawarma Shack, we take pride in the food we serve to our customers. We strive to have high quality ingredients, service, and a friendly environment for our customers to enjoy and create memories with. We specialize in authentic shawarma, using our specialty herbs and spices, as well as top quality cuts of halal meats. Our beef shawarma is loaded with over 10 authentic herbs/spices, and our chicken shawarma has more than 12. Our goal is to have every customer satisfied with every mouth-watering bite. We also have many delicious healthy options, and we use the best quality ingredients. From using extra virgin olive oil for our salads, to fresh produce for all of our luscious options.
